The 2010 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4x2 combines utility, power, and seating capacity to produce an attractive passenger-friendly hauler. Edmunds says of the new Tundra, "During our long-term test, we found it immensely capable when it came to towing and hauling, and it was also comfortable, durable and spacious." The trims offer a variety of features and options for you to choose from including three engine sizes--a 4.0L, a 4.6L, and a 5.7L engine. You can also choose between base, Long Bed, and Limited trim styles. The Limited trim offers features and accoutrements usually only found on luxury vehicles, such as a JBL AM/FM/MP3 6-disc CD changer with integrated satellite radio. All trims seat six except for the limited trims, which seat five.Useful exterior features for the new Double Cab include variable intermittent windshield wipers, high solar energy absorbing glass, manual headlamp adjustment, daytime running lights, an easy lower and lift tailgate, and deck rail and tailgate caps. A chrome rear bumper adds a hint of curb appeal to the exterior.
The instrumentation panel on the new Double Cab includes a speedometer, a tripmeter, a digital clock, a tachometer, and an outside temperature gauge. Interior features that make your drive pass more quickly, and enjoyably, include 6 cup holders, three powerpoints, cruise control, an illuminated entry system, power windows, power door locks, and a remote keyless entry system. Two-way adjustable front headrests are also found in every Double Cab.
The mechanical equipment that gives the new Double Cab an edge on the competition includes an Automatic Limited-Slip Differential which enhances performance in off-roading situations. Other mechanical equipment includes rack-and-pinion hydraulic power steering, a power-assisted 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System, and an acoustically controlled induction system dual stage intake manifold which optimizes power and torque without sacrificing fuel efficiency. The front suspension package includes front independent coil-spring high-mounted double-wishbone suspension with a stabilizer bar and low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks. The rear suspension includes a rear live axle, trapezoidal multi-leaf rear suspension, and staggered outboard-mounted low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks.

With this Base trim you'll get a 5.7-liter V8 engine and a six-speed electronically controlled transmission with uphill/downhill shift logic and a sequential shift mode.

The engine produces 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. 6-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence also comes standard. And whether you need to haul a little cargo, or tow a huge trailer, you'll appreciate the 10,500 lbs of tow capacity. This trim seats five. 
This Base trim features a longer bed, and runs on a 5.7-liter V8 engine with a six-speed electronically controlled transmission that includes a sequential shift mode and uphill/downhill shift logic.
