Besides the many different hiking trails that feature beautiful views of Lagoon Valley Lake as well as local flora, Pena Adobe also includes barbecue areas, bike trails, a non-motorized boat launch, a disc-golf course, fenced-in dog park, and more. Browns Valley Hills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although Browns Valley Hills isn’t a marked hiking area, plenty of people love to come here and hike the steep slopes up the hillside in order to take in the beautiful views of Vacaville. Lagoon Valley Park<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Great for moderate hikers or above, Lagoon Valley Park features a few different hard-pack and single-pack trails to choose from that are perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and more. The trail is mostly open space with a lake view and tends to alternate between flat and ascents. This trail is also dog-friendly, just make sure your furry friend is on a leash!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alamo Creek Bikeway<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This paved bikeway is perfect for the leisure hiker who enjoys a nice shaded path to get a brisk walk in. The Alamo Creek trail connects to several parks including Nelson Park, Patwin Park, and Beeland park, all while being a hot spot for local wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
