The Manufacturing Institute\u2019s STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production) Ahead initiative is addressing this by promoting the role of women in the manufacturing industry through recognition, research. and leadership.<\/p>\n
Recently in Washington, D.C., The Manufacturing Institute honored three Toyota team members with Women in Manufacturing 2019 STEP Ahead Awards. These awards honor women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers. Award winners represent all levels of the manufacturing industry, from the factory floor to executive leadership.<\/p>\n
