With the 2021 Toyota Camry that is no longer the case. Does the 2021 Toyota Camry offer all-wheel drive? Yes, it does! Basically, all 4-cylinder models offer AWD and that includes the LE, SE, SE Nightshade Edition, XLE, and the XSE. The only trim levels that are excluded are the TRD, XLE V6, and the XSE V6. It’s worth noting that the 2021 Camry Hybrid options are not offered with AWD either.

What’s the power of the 2021 Camry?

What are the advantages of AWD in a sedan?

All-wheel drive is perfect for driving in inclement weather. When the Camry detects slippage in the front wheels, it immediately transfers up to 50% of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels and it does it lightning fast.

This makes for better handling in rain, sleet, ice, snow, and more. Though AWD doesn’t make you invincible while you’re driving, it does help especially when accelerating. It will also help prevent understeer which is when the front wheels slip in a turn making it feel like the steering wheel isn’t responding. What’s actually happening is that your front tires just don’t have the grip they need to both turn and apply torque to the road.

Read More: Features of the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime

How efficient is the AWD Camry?

There are a lot of efficiency specs to cover with the Camry, but we can make some direct comparisons to show you just how efficient the AWD Camry still is!
