At the recent 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, Scion Vice President, Andrew Gilleland, revealed the new Scion C-HR Concept<\/a>. C-HR stands for Compact size with High Ride height, which fits the new Scion vehicle very well. Here are a few features and elements you can expect from the Scion C-HR.<\/p>\n

Scion C-HR in a Category of its Own<\/h3>\n

Gilleland described the C-HR concept as a mixture of a variety of vehicle categories<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It doesn\u2019t fit neatly into any category, and that\u2019s exactly why we and our customers think it\u2019s perfect. It\u2019s got 4 doors and a hatch …but it\u2019s not a hatchback. It\u2019s large …with room for 5 …but it\u2019s not an SUV. And it\u2019s got a fast-sloping roofline …but it\u2019s not a sports car. I guess you could say it crosses over into many segments \u2026or even that it\u2019s in a class by itself.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Scion C-HR Drivability<\/h3>\n

The Scion C-HR prioritizes driving comfort, responsive handling, and precise steering for a unique driving experience. The C-HR is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which focuses on a more rigid body, a lower center of gravity, and a brand new double-wishbone rear suspension for improved handling.
