The Highlander comes in five varying grades, including the Hybrid Limited, and we have chosen to highlight some similarities and differences between the first two trim levels&#8211;the 2016 Toyota Highlander LE and LE Plus.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>[table id=3 \/]<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 Highlander LE comes standard with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine, but drivers can upgrade to a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is what comes in the Highlander LE Plus. Both trim levels and engine options are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission for smooth, seamless shifting.
