2018 Toyota 4Runner new design and features

Reliable and versatile, the 2018 Toyota 4Runner carries over many of the same elements from the 2017 model year. Drivers can choose from six different trim levels—SR5, SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, TRD Pro, and Limited—each of which has its own unique set of features and capabilities. The 4Runner also offers multiple different packages that shoppers can add on to their model, including the all-new Wilderness Package and TRD Enhancement Package.

Wilderness Package

The new Wilderness Package is available on the 4Runner SR5, SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road, and TRD Off-Road trims and comes with the following elements:

  • Roof rack crossbars
  • All-weather floor liners
  • Cargo tray

TRD Enhancement Package

Available on all 4Runner TRD trims, the TRD Enhancement Package offers these components, in addition to the other TRD-specific elements they are equipped with:

  • TRD 17-inch matte gray alloy wheels
  • TRD-stamped aluminum front skid plate

Other notable features on the 2018 4Runner

In addition to the new Wilderness Package and TRD Enhancement Package, the 2018 Toyota 4Runner offers a number of notable elements in terms of performance and technology. Under the hood, the 4Runner comes with a 4.0-liter V6 engine that is capable of producing 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque and offers a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs.
