How to use Siri® Eyes Free in 2016 Toyota 4Runner

For instance, the 2016 Toyota 4Runner comes equipped with Siri® Eyes Free, which drivers can use to control multiple iPhone features, such as calling, texting, and listening to music.

Using Siri® Eyes Free in the 2016 4Runner

In order to take advantage of the Siri® Eyes Free feature in the 2016 Toyota 4Runner, a compatible iPhone must be connected to your 4Runner via Bluetooth® wireless technology. The system also utilizes your 4Runner’s audio system, so make sure your volume is turned up.

3 Steps to initiate a Siri® command using Siri® Eyes Free

  1. Press and hold the phone off-hook button on the steering wheel. You’ll know Siri® Eyes Free has been activated when you see the Mobile Assistant screen on the display screen.
  2. After you hear a beep, speak your command. Commands include “Play [artist]” and “Call [contact]” among others.
  3. Siri® will then complete the task or prompt you to provide additional information or commands, if necessary.
