Looking at those trims, you may be wondering what is the difference between the 2021 Toyota RAV4 XLE and XLE Premium.

Exterior differences between the RAV4 XLE and XLE Premium

Though the XLE trim does get some stylish 17-inch alloy 5-spoke wheels finished in silver, the XLE Premium upgrades those wheels to 19-inch chrome. The XLE Premium includes both a power moonroof and a height-adjustable power liftgate as standard equipment. However, both of these features are available extra-cost options on the XLE trim.

Interior features of the 2021 RAV4 XLE Premium

On the inside, the XLE Premium adds an upgrade over the XLE, with center flow vent controls for the climate control. In terms of materials, the XLE Premium also gives you some upgrades with SofTex-trimmed seating, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, a leather-trimmed shift lever, and even an anti-slip door grip. For additional comfort options, the front driver’s seat is also available with a memory option on the XLE Premium.

The XLE Premium also has an available sound system upgrade with an 11-speaker JBL sound system. You also have an available rearview mirror upgrade with a HomeLink universal transceiver. If you have a Qi-compatible smartphone or device, you may be interested in the available wireless charging system in this trim as well.

Safety options for the RAV4 XLE Premium

On the safety side of things, the XLE Premium enjoys many of the same features that you get on other RAV4 trim levels, but as an available safety upgrade, you can get front and rear parking assist with automatic braking.
