At the recent 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, Toyota revealed five SEMA Edition TRD vehicles. The SEMA Edition TRD Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Highlander, and Land Cruisier received a few sport enhancements, and all came with Silver Pearl exterior paint and TRD interior embroidery.
The SEMA Edition TRD Avalon is based on the 2015 Avalon XLE Touring and has TRD lowering springs, which lower the vehicle by 1.5 inches in the front and back. TRD performance-tuned struts and TRD custom free-flow cat-back performance dual exhaust with quad tips improve the Avalon’s performance, while bronze 19×9-inch TRD performance wheels and TRD decklid badging complete the exterior look.
Based on the 2015 Toyota Camry XSE V6, the SEMA Edition TRD Camry is lowered by one inch in the front and 1.5 inches in the back for better aerodynamic performance and improved traction and handling on the road. The vehicle comes with TRD performance-tuned struts, brake pads, and custom free-flow cat-back performance dual exhaust as well as Bronze 21×9.5-inch TRD performance wheels.
The SEMA Edition TRD Corolla is modeled after the 2016 Toyota Corolla LE Eco but replaces the automatic transmission with a TRD six-speed manual for a sportier driving experience. The TRD Corolla comes with TRD custom free-flow cat-back single exhaust system and is lowered by one inch in the front and 1.5 inches in the back.
The SEMA Edition TRD Highlander has bronze 20×10 TRD performance wheels and has been lowered by one inch in the front and 1.5 inches in the back. The vehicle’s interior offers a redesigned cabin in full black with red accents as well as TRD seats.
Based on the 2016 Land Cruiser model, the SEMA Edition TRD Land Cruiser has quite a few enhancements. The TRD version comes with refined front and rear suspensions and has been raised two inches in the front for improved ground clearance and a larger angle of approach. The exterior features a TRD brush guard, LED driving lights, bronze TRD tubular running boards, and more.
