What’s new in the 2017 Toyota 4Runner?

For the 2017 model year, the Toyota 4Runner offers a few new and improved features that drivers can take advantage of.

2017 Toyota 4Runner new features

Although the 2017 4Runner will continue to be offered in six unique models, the previous Trail and Trail Premium grades are now called TRD Off-Road and TRD Off-Road Premium. With the TRD Pro model, the trio of TRD grades come with new exterior badging, a carbon fiber-patterned center console, electronic-locking rear differential, and Crawl Control. The TRD models also feature the full suite of off-road technologies to improve performance when taking the road less traveled. The 4Runner TRD Off-Road is equipped with special floor mats, while the TRD Off-Road Premium and TRD Pro come with TRD logos on the front seat headrests. Drivers can choose from three new color options for the 2017 4Runner TRD Pro–Cement, Barcelona Red, and Super White.
