New exterior design of the 2018 Toyota Yaris

On the outside, the 2018 Yaris features a number of notable changes. The L and LE trims come with a new bold front fascia as well as a new front grille with chrome accents. The SE trim offers a sporty front fascia with a new piano black mesh pattern grille surround and chrome accents. The 2018 Yaris SE also has 16-inch machined alloy wheels with dark accents. All new Yaris models feature a redesigned rear end with wider horizontal tail lamps that are integrated into the rear hatch. Drivers can choose from 8 different exterior color options, including two new ones: Blue Eclipse (replacing Blue Streak Metallic) and two-tone Blue Eclipse with Black Sand Pearl Roof (replacing two-tone Crushed Ice with Black Sand Pearl Roof).

2018 Yaris technology and features

On the inside, the 2018 Toyota Yaris L trim now comes standard with a three-spoke steering wheel with tilt and audio controls. The L and LE trims are equipped with Sport analog instrumentation, which is currently featured in the Yaris SE, as well as the Entune Audio System with a 6.1-inch touch-screen display, USB port, Bluetooth® capability, and much more. The 2018 Yaris SE comes with Entune Audio System with Connected Navigation, a 7.0-inch touch-screen display, Siri Eyes Free, HD Radio, and more.

Similarities between the 2018 and 2017 Toyota Yaris

The Toyota Yaris will continue to be available in both 3-door and 5-door variations. The 3-door option will offer the L and LE trim, while the 5-door comes in L, LE, or SE models. All Yaris grades will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense C, which features a suite of high-tech safety elements.
