What engines are available for the 2021 Camry XSE?

The Camry XSE actually has three different powerplants available for its 2021 model. The base powerplant is a 2.5-liter engine that is similar to the base engine for the Camry but tuned to provide a little more power with up to 206 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. It’s worth noting that on the XSE this powerplant is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. All other engine options are just front-wheel drive for the XSE.

Additionally, you can get the XSE with a hybrid drivetrain. This 2.5-liter gas engine produces 176 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque, but when combined with the electric motor, it pushes out a combined net horsepower of 208.

Lastly, the XSE at the very top of the lineup is available with a V6 powerplant. The 3.5-liter engine can produce up to 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. With three engine options, you get to pick what works right for you!
