2020 Toyota Prius Prime Trims and Pricing

Buyers of the 2020 Prius Prime have a choice of three trims: LE, XLE, and Limited. Pricing starts at $27,600 MSRP for the LE trim, $29,500 MSRP for the XLE trim, and $33,500 MSRP for the Limited trim. Also, the cost of the Prius Prime can be further reduced with up to a $4,500 Federal Tax Credit, as well as state rebates (up to $1,500 in California).

What’s new for the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime?

While most of the design of the Prius Prime is unchanged, it does offer many feature upgrades for the 2020 model-year. On the technology front, this includes newly standard Amazon Alexa compatibility, SiriusXM, and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, as well as two more USB ports for the rear seats. Additional upgrades include a new 5th seat, a new sun visor extender, and easier access for the seat heater buttons. Also, the cabin has new black interior accents for a sophisticated look.

The fuel economy of the 2020 Toyota Prius Prime is dependent on if you’re driving on only electric power or with the hybrid system. When driving on only electric power, the 2020 Prius Prime gets an estimated fuel economy of 133 MPGe (miles per gallon of gasoline equivalent). When using the hybrid system, the 2020 Prius Prime gets an estimated fuel economy of 55 city/53 hwy mpg.
